Your hosts, Brian and Karen Fleming have taken care of their customers for 5 years at the Plough Tavern and prior to that, for 14 years they were Steward and Stewardess at Haddington Golf Club.

Our award winning Bistro has a vast number of freshly prepared dishes cooked from local suppliers. One of our many signature dishes is our succulent sizzling pig with honey and ginger sauce. We also have our daily special board which consists of sausage, liver and onion on mash; fresh salmon; braised steak and onions on mustard mash; escalope of pork with diana sauce; scallops pan seared on cheesey mash; cullen skink; west coast mussel and onion stew.

Haddington is in the heart of golf paradise. Muirfield, North Berwick West Links, North Berwick East Links, Gullane 1 - 2 - 3, Dunbar East Links, Dunbar West Llinks, Whitekirk, Musselburgh Old Course, Royal Musselburgh, Monktonhall, Kilspindie, Longniddry, Luftness, Gifford, Castlepark, Craigielaw and of course our own Haddington Golf Club which is a very good parkland course with water features in excellent condition. A par 71 - which is a very good test of golf believe me.
